Jayson Lindemuth

Jayson began his martial arts journey at just 3 years old, and now with over 24 years of experience, he serves as Action Zone’s Head Instructor. He earned his 4th-degree black belt through years of dedication, and his training spans across multiple martial arts disciplines taught at the school.

Jayson started assisting classes at age 12 and began leading his own by 14. Since then, he’s spent more than a decade guiding students of all ages—instilling not only martial arts skills but also the life lessons that come with them.

​

Known for his calm, compassionate leadership, Jayson treats every student like family. "I teach kids the way I’d want someone to teach my own child," he says. "And I see our adults as my brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers. I want everyone to feel connected, challenged, and part of something meaningful."

He believes martial arts should develop the whole person—physically, mentally, and spiritually—and that hard work will get you where you want to be in life.

Jayson’s favorite part of teaching is watching students surprise themselves—gaining the confidence to do things they once thought were impossible. While Action Zone is a non-competitive school, he's proud of their Demo Team, which has performed everywhere from movie premieres and sporting event halftime shows to nursing homes and local school career days.

When he’s not on the mat, you’ll find Jayson outside working in the yard, kayaking, surfing, or spending time with his family and two dogs, Scooby Doo and Willow.
